This website was started as my personal build page on my 1987 Jeep Cherokee. However, I wanted to open it up to everyone that would like to share their personal experiences with their off vehicles. I’m and certified elevator mechanic and work all over Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino County in California.

Front Axle: Dana 30 w/Central Axle Disconnect

I have always been a fan of the Jeep Cherokee’s. I have owned a few over the course of my life. They are easy to work on and can hang with the best of them out on the trails. I prefer the old Renix era Cherokees due to not needing a scanner to work on them and not a lot of extra frills to worry about breaking. If you have a multi-meter and some basic hand tools, you can fix it yourself. Below are a few pictures of my older Cherokees I use to own.
My old 1988 Jeep Cherokee. I sold this Jeep after I bought my first house. I rolled is while out wheeling and didn’t want to drag it to the new house and fix it.
My last 1990 Jeep Cherokee I owned. This one was awesome but due to life’s callings it was time to part with it as well. My wife (girlfriend at the time) had just had our first child and we were in the process of selling my first house and moving into our second house. I decided to sell it to help pay for the wedding and there was no room for it at the time. So sold she was.
A 1955 Ford F100 my father and I built when I was in high school.
So she found another Cherokee for me to work on and for us to use for family camping trips and general off roading with our friends. The Jeep needs quite a bit of work but it’ll be ready to hit some trails in no time.
